SEOUL, South Korea – Stronghold Technology, Inc. the developer, manufacturer, and retailer of the world’s first smart coffee roaster is taking its first step into the major scene of 2019 Host Milano in Italy, taking place at Fiera Milano from October 18th through 22nd. S7 Pro, the high-end model in the S SERIES, is showcasing Stronghold’s innovation in the traditional roaster industry and providing opportunities to learn what smart can do. Demos will be available at Hall 22P Stand # V04.
Stronghold smart roasters adopt all-electric Android-based roast system designed to consistently produce precise and high quality roasts. With its predictable and precise heat control and advanced sensing technology that automatically makes adjustments to the environmental variations, S7 Pro features its unique technological achievement – Auto Replication.
This feature was born to provide a streamlined coffee roasting experience where the user can roast, save, and precisely replicate the profiles, all on a user-friendly touch screen interface.
Adding radiant heat to the convectional and conductive heat brings opportunities to explore various cup characteristics, completing the unique ‘Triple Heat System’. One of the advantages of S7 Pro is that it comes with a Program Mode which automatically performs optimized roasts, factoring in specific bean characteristics, making high quality roasts approachable to anyone.

Together with product demonstrations at Hall 22P Stand # V04, Stronghold will collaborate with Coffee Training Academy and Café Imports Europe to offer practical coffee workshops, which are free to attend. Davide Cobelli, CEO of Coffee Training Academy in Verona, will present a roasting workshop – How to roast on the S7 Pro – every day from 10:30 to 11:30, where he will talk about his experience of the S7 Pro. Simone Cattani, trainer at Coffee Training Academy, will offer a cupping workshop – every day from 16:00 to 17:00, to show how different styles of roasting will influence the cup of coffee.
In addition, Stronghold’s S7Pro has been awarded the SMART Label, the recognition of innovation in the hospitality sector promoted by HOST – Fiera Milano in collaboration with POLI.design.
The SMART Label will be awarded during the next edition of Host Milano 2019 to those products that will emerge for distinctive features in terms of functionality, technology, environmental sustainability, ethics or social implications. During the HOST Milano, all the products will appear in the Smart Label Index catalog and exhibited at a dedicated show area during the fair.
