FANO, Italy – Ultramar Caffè Srl, one year after the launch of the compostable Nespresso compatible capsule with oxygen barrier, which is now widespread in the main European markets, will announce the launch of the totally green packaging line for coffee beans in Milano HOST (Hall 14 Stand B14), thanks to the use of flexible barrier bags made of compostable materials, and an Italian preview of an aluminum capsule will take place.
The aroma saving valves manufactured in Germany are highly performing and compostable as well.
Compostable materials, in compliance with the standards of the European standard EN 13432, are totally recyclable and treated for disposal in composting plants.
These are materials able to guarantee freshness and aroma durability to roasted coffee beans and ground coffee, without representing a limit to the graphic part thanks to the use of colors for food use.
The packages are available in size of gr. 250; g. 500; g. 1,000.
The range of roasted coffees offered to its customers is wide and includes the possibility of making blends with beans from organic cultivation, Fair Trade, UTZ and Rain Forest certificated.
For the Italian company, the turning point towards an eco-sustainable market is the priority and responds to the growing demand from consumers willing to reward sensitive and environmentally friendly producers.
