Carimali celebrates its Centenary and looks to the Future at Host 2019

CHIGNOLO D’ISOLA, Italy – For Carimali it will be a special edition of Host full of exciting news. During the 100th anniversary, on a floor space of over 320 m2, Carimali booth (E50 – F39, Pad: 24) will be open, interactive and set up around four thematic areas: fully automatic machines, traditional machines, technologies and a museum with historical machines. HOST 2019 will be the perfect stage to present the artwork, created for the occasion by the artist Ale Giorgini.

An entire area of Carimali booth will be given over to the fully automatic machines, starting with BlueDot 26. The innovation is not only aesthetic, thanks to a simplified graphics that makes regulation more intuitive, but also technical above all.

The newcomer of the BlueDot range is a practical machine with a compact design. Despite its small size, BlueDot 26 is equipped with a fast and intuitive user friendly interface. Its contained measures make it suitable for small offices and B&B.

At the Carimali booth at Host 2019, Carimali will showcase the BlueDot Power, a machine with remarkable performances for its category. With a speed-adjustable pump, the new 16g modular espresso unit and the double boiler that guarantees high productivity and quality, BlueDot Power is designed especially for offices, high volume hotel breakfast service.

Ample space will be dedicated to the new range of traditionals with two proposals: Diva and Genius in matte black version. The innovative look of these models is characterised by the highly attractive details, that we are sure will conquer any environment and leave the baristas free to express their creativity. Furthermore, on the occasion of the centenary, two Diva will be present on the stand with the livery of the centenary.

The spotlight is also on Slingshot, a new exclusive brand for Europe

An area of the booth will be entirely dedicated to historic machines that has marked the history of Carimali. The undisputed protagonist will be our Murano Kristall restored by Officina Maltoni Coffee Machine Restoration. An unique machine made in 1952 and characterized by harmonious and elegant lines highlighted by the glass made by Murano glass masters. It will be a double experience, because this machine will be in operation and will enable you to taste extraordinary coffee.

In the area of technologies, Agnieszka Rojewska, World Barista Champion, Colin Harmon, Irish Barista Champion and Gregory Scace, mechanical engineer, will be present throughout the fair showing the exclusive boilerless technology, the maximum expression of energy saving and Carimali technology. This revolutionary technology will be presented at HOST in the form of modules and then in the course of 2020 will become one or more products.

Moreover, on Monday 21st from 11 am to 1 pm the booth will host the delivery of CQI pins. The event in collaboration with the CQI will be an opportunity for the Q Arabica Graders, the Q Robusta Graders and the Q Processing Professionals to collect the exclusive pin.

The Centenary of Carimali will take place immediately after Host

Wednesday 23 October with “Go higher, look further: to peek into coffee’s future” a one-day conference with 7 international speakers: Anabella Meneses, Christina Meinl, Gregory Scace, Mario Fernández Alduenda, Yannis Apostolopoulos, Colin Harmon and Chahan Yeretzian, a unique experience to observe and analyze the future of the coffee world according to their different points of view. This event will take place at Spazio Fase in Alzano Lombardo – Bergamo, from 8.30am.
