LOS ANGELES, U.S. — The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, one of the world’s leading roasters and retailers of specialty coffee and tea, is celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the beverage that started the frozen drink craze, The Original Ice Blended. Beginning on March 11th, guests can enjoy three classic Regular sized Ice Blended flavors – Mocha, Vanilla, and Caramel – for just $3.00.

The accidental invention was concocted in 1987 in Westwood, California, by a store manager, and it quickly became the talk of the town. Three decades later, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf sells tens of thousands Ice Blended® drinks a day.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf also unveiled that it is bringing back its beloved Horchata Ice Blended drink for Spring as well as returning Cold Brew tea favorite Blood Orange.
