KARLSTAD, Sweden – Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs, which operates in Northern Europe and Canada, has issued a statement to report on its efforts to ensure the safety of its customer and workers. “The coronavirus is affecting both us and others at the moment. The immediate future will be challenging but our focus is on minimizing the risks for co-workers, our operation, customers and the wider community” reads the press release.

“We are strictly following guidelines and advice provided by national authorities. In addition, we are taking the following measures:

  • Protect ourselves and others by being extra careful about hygiene etc.
  • Remain at home at the slightest symptoms of illness.
  • Minimize physical meetings and replace with digital when possible.
  • Minimize our travel.
  • Impose additional restrictions for visitors.

Löfbergs: Normal customer contact

Our ambition is to provide the same service as normal, but we will of course adapt our approach to the needs of our customers. That could mean visiting customers at times other than normal, or meeting digitally, by phone and email.

Deliveries – no major disturbances

At the moment, all deliveries to and from Löfbergs proceed as planned, even if some lead times on the import side are a few days longer due to increased precautions.

Production runs at normal speed. Löfbergs is closely monitoring developments and recommendations related to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, implementing necessary, proportional actions. We’re working closely with logistical partners to mitigate the risk of disturbances within the supply chain.
