MILAN – KitKat Arabic Coffee is coming this Ramadan to the Middle East, with the beloved confectionary brand launching a new edition with an Arabic twist to meet local consumer demand for a flavor inspired by “Gahwa,” as Arabic coffee is socially referred to in the region.
“We understand the cultural value of coffee time in the region, and are always listening to KitKat enthusiasts, many of whom have been telling us on social media platforms that they love the coupling of Arabic coffee with chocolate,” said Emile Douaihy, Nestlé Business Executive Officer, Confectionery, Biscuits and Snacks for the Middle East, and North Africa.
“Ramadan this year will be a bit unusual as we practice social distancing to protect ourselves and loved ones, we hope that the KitKat Arabic coffee puts a smile in consumers’ after iftar breaks”.
The beloved KitKat crispy wafer fingers come in a blend of smooth milk chocolate, roasted blond Arabica coffee beans, and the rich aroma of cardamom, in a combination evoking comforting traditional senses that merge nostalgia with modernity.
The new KitKat is available across retail stores in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan.
