SUSEGANA, Italy – Storm sponsors the new SCA Roundtable series – “Challenges, experiences and opportunities with a view towards the future of the coffee industry”. What is the coffee industry doing to overcome the problems posed by COVID 19? What opportunities can we identify by taking an analytical approach and sharing our experiencess?

These are some of the questions that Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and his esteemed guests will try to answer by sharing their experiences and seeking solutions to share with the coffee community.

The videos, which began on 11 May and will be posted weekly, are available on social media and on the Storm website. This week’s discussion brings together key “Large Coffee Roasters” Lee Wallace of Peace Coffee, Marcel Loeffler of Meinl, Jason Wang of Jascaffe, Robert Jones of Coffee Planet, and Dr. Nasara of Kaldi Africa.

“Following our experience as a sponsor of the German Coffee Championships at the beginning of the year, we gladly took up the SCA’s invitation. We share many common values with them, including sustainability, our belief in making technology and expertise available to baristas, and great quality coffee, to name but a few.

We believe that collaborating and sharing information across all areas of the coffee industry will enhance the quality and improve international awareness of this product that we all care so deeply about. This type of initiative helps to strengthen coffee culture and enhance the industry,” explains Federico Gallia, CEO of the Ryoma Group.
