FLORENCE, Italy – Accademia del caffè espresso, the cultural center founded by La Marzocco to promote coffee culture, is launching a new online course focused on teaching the learner how to extract exceptional espresso and further explore topics around espresso brewing.
Accademia del caffè espresso launches the new online course
“E-learning Espresso” consists of 15 modules, more than 70 videos for over 5 training hours. The topics range from the origins and the processing of coffee to setting up your espresso machine and the basics of latte art, alternating between theoretical concepts and practical advice to get the finest espresso and beverage out of a home espresso machine.
The course has been designed by the Coffee Education Leader of Accademia, Nora Smahelova, “This course was conceived as a point of reference for anyone who just wants to improve their coffee experience at home starting from a greater knowledge of the raw material,” says Nora Smahelova.
This is Accademia’s first online course, which enriches the existing “in-house” course catalog provided at the Accademia del Caffè Espresso.
“We decided to create a course that could be enjoyable online, accessible anytime and everywhere,” continues Nora Smahelova.
The course structure will enable you to replicate the course concepts directly on your espresso machine in real-time. “E-learning” aims to give users theoretical and practical aspects of extraction parameters so that by the end of the course, they will master espresso extraction and much more, entering a whole new world rich in flavors and scents and endless possibilities.
The course is available here for 295€, and it guarantees one-year access to the platform following its purchase.
