MELBOURNE – Entries are now open to the 2014 Australian International Coffee Awards ( AICA ), the second edition of Asia Pacific’s premier coffee roasting competition. Organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the AICA celebrates and promotes coffee roasting excellence in Australia, New Zealand, the Asia Pacific region and around the world and is a partner event of the 2014 Melbourne International Coffee Expo.
This year’s categories include Espresso, Milk Based Coffee and Filter, including Pour Over and Syphon Coffee.
Entries for the 2014 AICA will close on Friday, 21 February 2014, with judging scheduled to take place in March 2014 at Melbourne Showgrounds.
The AICA trophy winners will be announced in May 2014 as part of the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE), Australia’s biggest coffee event.

$130 per entry
Paper based entries will incur a processing fee of $10 per entry
