MILAN – Three days of great coffee and exciting competitions at World of Coffee Copenhagen, featuring the world finals of four competitions of the World Coffee Events circuit. Taiwanese champion Yi-Chen Xie won the 2024 World Latte Art Championship.
The competition was held for the first time this year using a super-automatic machine: the Thermoplan Black&White4 CTS. The runner up was the 2019 world champion Manuela Fensore, from Italy. In third place, China’s Guoqiang Liu.
South Korea’s Seung Chan Wi won the 2024 Coffee In Good Spirits Championship, a competition that highlights the barista/barkeeper’s mixology skills in a setting where coffee and alcohol go perfectly together, from the traditional Irish Coffee (with whiskey and coffee), to unique cocktail combinations.
In second and third place respectively were Switzerland’s Sandro Roth and Italy’s Andrea Villa.
Frence came at first place in the Cezve/Ibrik Championship. The winner was Jordan Tachnakian, who preceded the Turkish competitor Kevser Atmaca and Ukrainian Ivan Bilousov.
