“‘They seem made for each other.’ Words of those already working with an MDX on demand coffee grinder next to an Appia II coffee machine. Both the fruit of Nuova Simonelli technology, they complement each other in terms of performance, reliability, timing and volume of work, and even at the level of being an investment.

Grinding fresh coffee instantly with an MDX on demand, choosing the dose both for single filter and for double filter, the barista ensures higher quality in the cup being able to take full advantage of the technologies in the Appia II: the SIS, which gives a soft and perfect infusion as well as the Turbocream, which helps in the preparation of excellent cappuccinos.

MDX on demand is also equipped with the ‘Clump Crusher Dispensing System’ to totally eliminate the effects of static electricity in the particles of ground coffee, thus ensuring the utmost regularity of output stream for any type of coffee.

Appia II and MDX on demand, born following the success of the previous versions (Appia and MDX), are even richer, with more comfort for the barista and even more basic and simple maintenance. With an all-aluminum body, the grinder has several electronic functions that allow simultaneous adjustment of the dose, presetting for two different doses as well as the ‘continuous’ function and the ability to verify each parameter on the graphic display.

MDX on demand features a vertical ventilation system for the milling chamber, with flat 65mm grinders and micrometric adjustment for the grinding. Simple and innovative, the Appia II stands out not only for its proverbial reliability, but also for the modern style that makes it suitable for any environment.

Functional and hard wearing, it is also extremely versatile because of two versions, with standard height or taller groups in all models: one, two and three groups and the Compact.

In addition to their ability to face any kind of challenge, the barista is inclined to choose Appia II and MDX on demand for several ergonomic features that make work less strenuous.

The coffee grinder has a coupling system for the filter holder which means the barista does not have to hold it during the filling phase, while being able to check on the coffee at any time thanks to the integrated illumination.

The coffee machine, in turn, has enhanced ergonomic features, with the introduction of the ‘reverse mirror’, the flush cup warmer as well as a responsive and sensitive keypad.
