MILAN – The 28th ASIC Conference on Coffee Science will take place 28 June – 1 July 2021 in Montpellier SupAgro (France). Because of the worldwide coronavirus outbreak that is still affecting most countries, the Conference will be held in full video format. This conference represents a unique opportunity to gather specialists (research institutes, universities, coffee industry and coffee professionals…) from all over the world working to face several important challenges (sustainability, climate change, supply of good quality coffee, health…).
During the conference, all possible aspects of coffee science and technology will be developed and the participants will be able to hear and share novelties on topics such as genetics, pathology, agroecology, chemistry, technology, physiological effects, packaging and storage etc.
ASIC (Association for the Science and Information on Coffee) has been existing for 54 years already and has organized regularly conferences on coffee science most usually every second year, trying to alternate coffee producing and consuming countries.
