If you’ve ever found yourself in need of way more than the typical dose of caffeine in your coffee, Viscous Coffee in Christies Beach, 40 minutes south of Adelaide (Australia) may have the perfect pick-me-up.
Consisting of a quadruple shot of espresso, eight ice cubes made from 48-hour cold drip and 120 milliliters of extra-aged 10-day cold brew, their monstrosity titled “The Ass Kicker” is compromised of half the lethal dose of caffeine and is as strong as 80 regular cups of coffee.
While the average cup of coffee contains 100 to 200 milligrams of caffeine, The Ass Kicker actually contains five grams of caffeine – which is supposedly enough to keep you going for 12 to 18 hours.
If you’re interesting in this near-toxic drink, be sure to check out Viscous Coffee on your next trip to Australia. A cup will set you back approximately $12 USD.
