MILAN, Italy – Coffee is transformed to meet new tastes and needs, extractions and combinations. But only at a live event is it possible to try and see the innovations of the sector at work. It is renewed in the extractions and recipes, looks for new origins and marries with spirits and milk, but in the end it is always and only the result in the cup that speaks. Coffee is now a product that is drunk and loved all over the world and attention to quality is increased even in the extraction phase.
All the novelties will be presented, as happens every two years, at SIC, the International Coffee Show, in the presence of the protagonists of the sector.
“As a live event, Host will be an opportunity, after almost two years, to personally meet our entire network of branch colleagues, distributors and end customers, in compliance with safety regulations. The show in attendance gives visitors the opportunity not only to see but to try new products, which is impossible when the launches take place digitally – says Fabrizio Corti, Product Specialist of La Marzocco.
At Host, the company will introduce an App that allows you to remotely control professional machines. It will physically present for the first time the restyling of one of the most iconic models, introduced last spring. But also an automatic milk frother designed both for specialty cafes and for more commercial places. A separate chapter belongs to the products of Officine Fratelli Bambi, a very limited edition series of machines based on the company’s consolidated technologies but which stand out for their more refined aesthetics and for the manual processing of all components.
Among the current trends, Corti notes technological innovation and connectivity of equipment, as well as the implementation of solutions for the domestic market.
A very important opportunity to show new products and meet current and potential customers from all over the world, but also to take stock of what is happening in the industry: this is HostMilano for Gemma Kiernan, marketing manager of Marco Beverage Systems. The Irish company will present a range of end-to-end innovations for Cold Brew.
“They are systems designed to make Cold Brew service faster, more efficient, more flexible and more focused on delivering an excellent customer experience. We continue to see cold drinks as a trend. The decrease in the consumption of alcohol at a global level, together with a consumer more attentive to health, make Cold Brew, sparkling teas, waters, and fruit infusions categories of product that will continue to grow”.
Among the events that will animate the SIC, eyes on the SCA 2021 championships – World Bartender Championship, World Brewers Cup, World Cup Tasters Championship, for the first time at HostMilano. Do not miss the 7th Grand Prix of the Italian coffee shop, the 2nd World Championship of Latte Art Grading by ALTOGA, the National Association of Coffee Roasters and Importers and Food Wholesalers and the Coffee addition tastings – the itinerary event and coffee tasting corner.
