Australia’s Retail Food Group appoints new director of Coffee Retail

SYDNEY, Australia – ASX-Listed global food and beverage company, Retail Food Group Limited is bolstering growth within its Coffee Retail Division with the recent appointment of their new Director – Coffee Retail.

Jevon Le Roux (PICTURE), a strategic leader with proven capabilities in business turnaround execution and strong credentials in the retail industry, has been appointed to the new role and recently assumed his position at RFG’s Castle Hill office based in Sydney.

RFG’s Chief Franchise Officer, Mike Gilbert, expressed that Jevon has joined the business with extensive and relevant experience in bringing new products, brands and businesses to market, and driving growth through highly competitive channels.

“Jevon brings over 18 years’ experience across multiple industries and is an ambitious leader with extensive experience in setting vision and strategy that supports high-end growth,” he said.

“He will be responsible for leading the bourgeoning Coffee Retail division at RFG and setting turnaround strategies to reposition the Gloria Jean’s Coffees brand system, as well as accelerate the growth of the Cafe2U and The Coffee Guy networks.”

Jevon’s experience is demonstrated across various industries, including retail, fashion, technology and management consulting, with his most recent role at Hurley, the Nike surf company, where he was responsible for taking the global fashion brand to the South African market and building its wholesale and retail operational platform from the ground up.

“Jevon will be instrumental in delivering success across a number of the Company’s core platforms, including a focus on high-quality coffee and building on our strong food and beverage credentials,” said Mike.

Jevon holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris which is ranked third in the 2016 Financial Times EMBA Rankings.
