TAIPEI, Taiwan — avercasso announces its participation as a Diamond Sponsor for this year’s 2024 Korean Coffee Roasting Championship (KCRC). A landmark event for roasters, the annual competition will take place this year from Mar 7-10 in Incheon, South Korea. The KCRC’s mandate of elevating coffee roasting in Asia is a perfect match for avercasso® and its new coffee bean sorter, the CS One.
As a Diamond Sponsor of the KCRC, representatives from avercasso will attend the event and showcase the CS One in person. There will be a live demonstration of the green bean sorting process along with discussions of the product’s technology and design.

The 2024 KCRC will host premium roasters from all over Korea as they compete to produce the highest-quality coffee roast. Participants are provided beans and a standard roasting machine and must produce an outstanding roast in a strict time frame.
Sanctioned by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) – Korea Chapter, the winners from the event will go on to represent Korea at the World Coffee Roasting Championship in June, where the CS One will also be present for live demonstrations.
