Bazzara Academy chooses Rancilio Specialty RS1

“RS1 Specialty is an ideal professional espresso coffee machine thanks to its reliability. There are many strengths: on one hand the thermic stability and the easiness in its use, on the other the change and the work of the machine on two aspects which help the extraction of a high-quality espresso, underlining thus the properties of the coffee”, these the words of Carlos González.

“RS1 Specialty is an ideal professional espresso coffee machine thanks to its reliability. There are many strengths: on one hand the thermic stability and the easiness in its use, on

Bazzara Academy x Rancilio Group

RS1 Specialty is, indeed, a professional coffee machine, easy to be used and, at the same time with very high performances helping the professionals of the sector to make the
coffee experience of the customers better. RS1 blends a very developed extraction
technology and the Rancilio expertise with an iconic design and oriented towards the
workflow.

As its name suggests, RS1 is perfect as espresso specialty coffee machine

Thanks to its progressive technology with which it can give value also to the most valuable blends and varieties. The machine has indeed met the severe test standards of the Specialty Coffee Association and it is recognised as a SCA certified espresso machine.

The espresso coffee machine multiboiler, as Carlos González explains in the presentation
video, is available in three colours (black, inox or white) and in two or three groups with
automatic dosage with Advanced Temperature Profiling Technology, pre and post infusion.
With a 4.3″, touchscreen, RS1 is a professional coffee machine which allows an intuitive
and quick access to the set-up menu. Moreover, it has special displays for every group
with a flow rate stopwatch and temperature indicator.

The emanation groups in inox steel of RS1 are equipped with double resistance
microboiler. Besides keeping the water and the group temperature stable, the multiboiler
system of this espresso coffee machine, improves its thermic performance even when
coffee and steam are simultaneously dispensed. Furthermore, the multiboiler technology
gives the possibility to set different temperatures for every flow group.

And it does not end here!

Thanks to the Advanced Temperature Profiling Technology the barista can increase or decrease the water temperature during the extraction phase until a maximum difference range of 5°C. It is a high-pressure instrument which gives the
possibility of regulation the temperature profile of every extraction and exalt the aromas
and tastes of every blend or mono-origin coffee. Acting on the temperature, different results can be reached also connected to acidity, sweetness, body, bitterness and
astringency.

Eventually, with the machine RS1 the barista can change the water pressure both in the
initial (pre-infusion) and in the final (post-infusion) phase of the extraction choosing
between the net and the pump pressure and also regulate both phases. Using the low-
pressure water coming from the net, the barista can obtain more homogeneous extractions, reduce the channelling risk and better maintain the soluble substances and
the aromas which, with a high-pressure overextraction could not reach the cup. That is
why RS1 is the prefect espresso specialty coffee machine.
