TRIESTE, Italy – Bazzara Academy has hosted for a week for special meetings the coffee expert Andrea Lattuada of 9bar, the man recognised as “coffee character of the year” during one of the past editions of the Trieste Coffee Experts, the biennial summit organised by Bazzara.
Thanks to its valuable contribution, together with Marco Bazzara – Sensory project Manager and Academy Director, many new contents have been created connected to the whole world of coffee: from brewing to the world of barista until the latte art, the renewed technique concerning everything related to the cappuccino decoration. A technique which can boast Italian origins since it was invented by a Verona barista at the end of the 70s.
Andrea Lattuada at Bazzara Academy
Not only good but also beautiful, thanks to latte art it is indeed possible to taste a cappuccino which can also be a pleasure for the eyes, a true work of art: light contrasts which give to the drink a fascinating and funny aspect inducing a great appeal in the final consumer. It is possible to realise many different styles: stencil, writing, topping, etching animals, latte art, painting, free style, and 3D. A rich and complex art in which technique, study and precision can make the difference in the ability of a perfect barista.
Right because Bazzara believes that transmitting the high-quality coffee culture is paramount above all through training, fundamental in a world where skills and preparation are more and more important, a new series of video designed by the Bazzara Communication could not miss connected to the topics of brewing, barista and latte art, available in a short time and distributed by important media of the field and on the Youtube Channel by Bazzara.
These series of video have the aim of spreading the knowledge of high-quality coffee. Connected to this topic, Marco Bazzara as Director of the Academy underlines the importance of training, improvement, and continuous education for those who want to become professional. That is why the Trieste Academy always proposes a wide range of courses with this goal.
Recognised at an international level and offering a wide range of training options, the responsible of the courses is Marco Bazzara himself accompanied by international experts. Q-Grader, cafeteria and latte art experts, roasting and cupping professionals to discover the world of coffee in all its facets. We have to remember that for its courses and the creation of training contents, the Bazzara Academy also has the contribution of some of the best experts of the field, besides SCA certified trainers.
As Sca Trainer since 2006, the expert Andrea Lattuada, Italian Champion Baristi Cafeteria at the WBC (World, Barista, Championship) of Boston, is the owner and a trainer of 9bar, an internationally recognised expert for the professionality developed in many years of experience in cafes and coffee shops all over the world: Europe, Asia, and America.
The professional experiences and the important won competitions allowed him to meet different concepts of restaurants and cafes and to have a comprehensive vision of bars and coffee shops. In 2005 he founded 9bar, professional training centre for baristas and bartenders, able to support the professionals of this field.
As for Bazzara, which has always underlined the importance of promotion and research of the culture and quality of coffee connected to tradition but forward-looking, Andrea Lattuada too, through professional training courses connects the quality of tradition with the innovation.
Ideas and concepts which are shared by the historical Trieste roasting company. This gave birth to a perfect synergy and a great collaboration because, as Bazzara always says, networking is the fundamental idea to support Made in Italy with a coffee or a cappuccino which are always beautiful, good and well done.
