DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Black Coffee is a new concept developed by Café Younes, one of the oldest surviving coffee roasters in Lebanon. In 1935 when Amin Younes Sr. returned from Brazil with two coffee mills and a dream, he founded a three-generation legacy catering to quality coffee lovers. Adhering to the authentic origins and neighbourhood feel has made Cafe Younes the success story it is today, growing the business into a flourishing enterprise.

Throughout Lebanon’s recent history, Café Younes has been a constant, a reassuring presence, providing meeting places for coffee lovers to bide a while and look forward to the future. “Meet me at Café Younes and we’ll talk about it.”

With over 85 years of history and success under their belt they have launched the first Black Coffee by Café Younes in Dubai at the Duja Tower, Trade Centre Area off Sheikh Zayed Road, where customers can witness the roasting of green beans, transforming them into the aroma filled coffee beans we know and love.

The knowledgeable, passionate and friendly team are happy to share the ins and outs of producing the perfect cup from single origin and blends from around the world.

All that remains is for the customer to sit back, enjoy, and wonder at the transformation of an unremarkable small green bean into something so magical.

A food menu is also available of fresh, simple and generous items both sweet and savoury to satisfy all cravings; breakfasts, lunches, light meals and of course those irresistible sweets.

Eggs Benedict has the Black Coffee touch with creamy, lemon-y butter sauce on a bed of glistening spinach. Their signature burger, a moist, flavour packed patty with all the trimmings on a freshly baked bun is not to be missed.

As for the sweets, Grandma’s chocolate cake, lemon tarts and the praline rose tart which is to die for, all cry out to be tasted.

For those who want to replicate that flavour and aroma at home, bags of their best-selling coffee are available in-store

Faysal Younes, 3rd generation owner and Managing Partner of Café Younes and Black Coffee has praise for the leadership of the UAE: “We have been encouraged by the positivity of the leadership here. It has been welcoming and helpful at every step; certainly giving us confidence to further expand our presence here in the UAE without hesitation.”

For those who lack the time to sit in, there is Grab-n-Go coffee and snacks, take away and online delivery, via Deliveroo, Zomato and Talabat. Check out their website www.blackcoffee.ae.
