OAKLAND, Calif., U.S. — Blue Bottle Coffee announced it will rush exclusive products and merchandise to Taipei for its limited time gift shop, located at Atré at the Breeze Nanshan shopping center. The retail outpost opened to overwhelming support from Taiwanese shoppers eager to get their hands on official Blue Bottle products previously only available in the U.S. and Japan.

Many items sold out within days, causing the company to rush merchandise to Taiwan in order to satisfy demand. Guests can expect more inventory, including the Whole Bean Can, Coffee Dripper, and Miir Commuter Cup to arrive in late January and are invited back to see what Blue Bottle has in store.

The shop, which is scheduled to run for six months through July 2019, features a simple and beautiful design, complete with light wood, spacious interiors and Blue Bottle Coffee’s signature minimalist aesthetic. Despite not being able to offer the full cafe experience for its first engagement in Taiwan, Blue Bottle was excited by the warm welcome it received and is looking for ways to engage with Taiwanese guests in the future.

Director of Coffee Culture Michael Phillips will show guests how to brew a delicious cup of coffee at home in a series of pour over classes from January 25-28, 2019. Assisted by all the necessary tools, participants will learn the precise standards used in Blue Bottle Coffee shops around the world and have a chance to brew their own cup under the supervision of Michael and his team of trained professionals. For more information and to register, please visit https://passer.cc/organizations/BBC-ATRE. The class is almost sold out, so act quickly to reserve your spot!

Blue Bottle will also host a series of free coffee tastings in the shop from January 25-28 (based on availability) to celebrate the Chinese New Year holidays.
