MILAN – Coffee exports from Brazil rose by 12.7% in June to 2.47 million bags, according to Cecafé’s monthly report. Despite this slight recovery, total shipments for crop year 2017/18 (July-June) are down 8.4% to 30.292.606 bags.
Green coffee exports saw a 15.7% increase in June to 2.2 million bags. Arabica volumes rose by 1.9% to 1.9 million bags.
Robustas witnessed an impressive recovery from the historic lows of the last two years.
On the other hand, exports of processed coffee (mostly soluble coffee) were down by 6.2%
