MILAN – Santos-based trader Comexim has revised down its estimate for Brazil’s 2013/14 (Jul/Jun) coffee production to 49.4 million 60-kg bags from a previous estimate of 53.5 million bags due to dry weather conditions over the main Robusta growing region of Espirito Santo.
The forecast of the Arabica crop was left unchanged from the figure released in May at 36.4 million bags.
