MILAN – Brazil’s National Commodity Supply Corporation, or Conab, marginally revised its estimate for the country’s 2017/18 coffee crop following its fourth field survey, led between November 26th and December 9th in all producer states.
In its fourth estimate, released on Thursday , Conab pegs production at 44.97 million bags, about 200,000 bags more over the previous estimate released in September.
This is a 12.5 percent decrease from a record crop of 51.4 million bags collected in 2016/17.
