MILAN – In its first crop assessment for 2017/18, Brazil’s National Supply Company, or Conab, pegged coffee production at 43.7-47.5 million bags. A decline between 7.5 and 15 percent compared to last year’s record crop of 51.4 million bags.
The estimate is based on a field enquiry conducted in December.
