MILAN – In the third official forecast this year, Brazil reduced its estimate for CY 2017/18 by almost 800,000 bags to 44.77 million bags, compared to 45.56 million bags projected in May.
Arabica production was estimated at 34.07 million bags – or 1.36 million bags less than previously expected.
On the other hand, Robusta (conillon) production is seen at 10.71 million bags – or 568,000 bags more than in the second forecast.
