On Thursday (20), the National Supply Company (Conab) will hold two more electronic auction arabica coffee sales, with the supply of 5,700 tons of product. The coffee is stocked in warehouses of Minas Gerais.
These regular offerings are planned by the end of the year and are part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s strategy, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) for regulating the internal market, due to rising oil prices. Conab technicians daily accompany the coffee market behavior.
This year has already auctioned 560,000 coffee bags, 60 kg each.There are still about 260 thousand bags to be marketed until December.
Those interested in purchasing the product must be registered on the stock exchange through which intend to carry out the operation and in goodstanding in the System Log and Defaulters Control Conab (Sircoi), among other requirements detailed in the tender documentation.
