MILAN – According to preliminary data from country’s Ministry of Trade, green coffee exports from Brazil rose to 2.669 million 60-kg bags or a 6.2 percent increase over the same month last year.
This was also the first year-on-year increase in three months. Shipments in January 2016 amounted to 2.485 million bags. The Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé) is expected to release its monthly statistics next week.
