SOUTH BARRINGTON, Ill., U.S. – As patrons enjoyed their favorite International coffee drinks and the delicious food at Calibré Coffee last Saturday, the coffee house donated proceeds to help feed vulnerable children in Nicaragua.

The entire staff at Calibré spent the day connecting with customers and introducing them to ORPHANetwork’s CEO Dick Anderson. Anderson shared life changing stories from the non-profit’s work which serves 20,000 vulnerable and orphaned children living in Nicaragua, the poorest Spanish-speaking country in the world.

Calibré raised $4,445 which will provide nourishing food and holistic care for 202 vulnerable Nicaraguan children. After reflecting on the success of the day, Bontempo remarked, “Everyone at Calibré was inspired with this fundraising event,” he continued, “clearly ORPHANetwork is making the world a better place.”
