VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – Whether you’re single, taken or it’s complicated, a lot of us struggle with the pressure that Valentine’s Day can bring.

This year, toss thoughts of Cupid aside and visit your local 7-Eleven store instead. 7-Eleven wants to make people smile and take the big day a little less seriously, by encouraging them to share their relationship status in a fun way “over coffee.”

Between Thursday, February 12, and Saturday, February 14, 7-Eleven Canada will be serving its fresh premium 100 per cent Arabica coffee in limited edition, customized coffee cups that will reveal whether the guest is Single, Taken or It’s Complicated.

The promotion will run across all stores from B.C. to Ontario, while cup quantities last. We know people like to share their status socially and over coffee – this is a new and unique fun way to combine it.

The customized coffee cups will give guests a new unique and fun way to share that all-important relationship status and each cup comes complete with check box options to explain your chosen status.

Those who opt for a Taken cup can choose from options such as “But flirting’s okay” or “We can still be friends”.

Guests who are Single (or claim to be) can tick the back of their cup and reveal choices including “I’m a work in progress” or “I cut my own hair”.

And for those daring souls willing to admit that It’s Complicated… they can check off boxes including “I’m exploring my options” or “I’m waiting for him/her to text me back.”

7-Eleven Coffee

Two varieties of 7-Eleven coffees that are expected to be in demand this Valentine’s Day are Kona Blend and Maple Toffee Cappuccino. Single Origin Sumatran Coffee will be coming in March.
