Canada’s Second Cup Coffee Company opens its first café in Karachi

KARACHI, Pakistan – Canada’s favorite, Second Cup Coffee Company opened its doors in Karachi with a bang, amidst celebrities, media, socialites and friends. The evening kick-started with a bustling red carpet where guests took pictures on arrival at the media wall.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the cafe was done by the Chief Guests Mr. Tolga Uçak (Consul General Turkey), Mr Ishtiaq Baig (Honorary Consul General Morocco) with other notables Mr. Asim A. Majeed (Managing Director Second Cup Pakistan), Mr. Asad Fecto (Franchise Partner), Mr. Kashif Hussain (Director Second Cup Pakistan) followed by many known media personalities, Zhalay Sarhadi, Tipu Sharif, Zainab Shabbir, Shehzeen Khan & Nida Khan, along with other guests taking a thorough round of the cafe, enjoying the scrumptious snacks and coffee.

Speaking on the occasion, MD Second Cup- Pakistan, Mr. Asim A. Majeed said “After finding success across 25 stores in 8 cities around the country, we are thrilled to launch Second Cup Coffee Company, café in Karachi. We are truly grateful for the love, support and response we have received so far.”

It may be noted that Second Cup Coffee Company is a premium Canadian café brand operating since 1975.

The brand first came into Pakistan in 2013 and has been expanding immensely since then. It has 500+ outlets spread over 34 countries. The café has a luxurious ambience and is known to serve the best coffee in town with the most diverse menu in black coffees, serving clean label coffees with their second sip guarantee.

Second Cup is the fastest growing and one of the largest café brand in Pakistan and aims to become the market leader in Pakistan by 2021.

The well-attended and successful launch left all guests elated with the quality of the coffee and the ambience of the café.
