PARIS, France – The 1st “Chocolates Processed at Origin” International Contest just took place in Paris. It encountered an unexpected success for this first edition of a kind. Almost 200 chocolates registered from more than 40 producing countries. 2021 has been the 19th anniversary of the “World Edible Oils” International Contest. This contest is now well established and is keeping attracting new participants each year to the point that we begin to think of organizing a special edition for southern hemisphere producers.
Time has come now for the « Teas of the World » International Contest of which the 4th edition was launched on the very day of tea international day. Some registrations have already been recorded.
In the same vein, first demands for the 7th “Coffees Roasted at Origin” International Contest are already coming in.
On the 10th of June, AVPA will reward the first companies whose products are certified Gourmet AVPA. These products distinguish themselves by their quality, equilibrium, finesse, and which ought to be disclosed to friends for the “wow” effect they produce on the consumer. These first products come from France, Italy, Spain and Togo.
The COVID-19 pandemic seems to step back in Europe and commercial activities are reopening for the good of AVPA members and producers of exception. Let us hope that the global situation gets better for all of them who need to be showcased and recognized for their endeavours.
