ROME, Italy – A multi-functional site for discovering all the latest innovations by La Cimbali and Faema, immersed in a set-up which is highly evocative of the brand’s characteristics. A training and cultural centre, a strategic Group hub for the promotion and knowledge of coffee and special equipment dedicated to the beverage.
Welcome to the new Rome branch of Cimbali Group, world leader in the design and manufacture of professional machines for coffee and fresh milk beverages as well as equipment dedicated to coffee bars.
The inauguration was held on 18th September, with a day-event focused on the coffee experience, including tasting and brewing sessions, alternative extractions and coffee in good spirits organised by Mumac Academy trainers, attended by the Cimbali family, Sales Management and numerous friends and guests, customers and coffee gurus in particular.
Located in Via Cornelia 498, the new branch reinforces the Cimbali Group’s presence in the Italian capital, further extending the Group’s sales network in the city of Rome.
The premises, which extend over a surface area of more than 250 m², are home to operative and management offices, a showroom dedicated to all the latest innovations by La Cimbali and Faema (traditional, super-automatic machines and grinder-dosers), as well as a training centre for cafeteria pre and after sales services, coffee culture and technologies for espresso coffee by the Cimbali Group.
These training facilities are part of the Mumac Academy strategy, the Cimbali Group Academy which has inaugurated an important office at the Rome branch.
The Cimbali Group’s new Rome branch was designed and built by Scocca, a consultancy firm specialised in catering, run by the associates Valeria Bortolan, an architect, and the Engineers Stefano Bugoni and Adriano Capocchi.
“We are proud of this new Rome branch, which demonstrates a reinforced presence of the Cimbali Group in the area,” said Franco Panno, ceo of Cimbali Group.
Mr. Panno also added “With these important premises, we aim to be a reference point for our customers, not only in terms of support and training for our models, but also for knowledge on the latest coffee trends.
Indeed the promotion of the espresso coffee culture has always been a characterising element of our Group’s identity, not to mention one of its founding values”.
