Rancilio’s Classe 11 has once again been chosen by SCAE Italia as official sponsor of the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Italian Barista Championship. Over the next two years, the event will take place simultaneously with the Sigep exhibition, which has been a key event worldwide in quality food services for some time.
The competitions of the official SCAE circuit are crucial to stimulating research in the field, which is found in the professional excellence of the participating baristas as well as in the design of increasingly advanced technologies to support demanding and trained professionals.
The competitions will consist in preparing 4 espressos, 4 cappuccinos and 4 non-alcoholic customized espresso-based drinks within a maximum time of 15 minutes, to be served to a jury of expert trainers and tasters.
Classe 11 will support the various contenders for the Italian title in obtaining a high-profile and smooth final result in the cup.
The coffee machine and its user interface will allow baristas to quickly and immediately navigate, thanks to the use of highly simplified and user-friendly icons.
The stage is set to once again help create an event within the event.
