MILAN – Coca-Cola announced on Thursday it is launching its first line of specialty coffees for home consumption in Brasil under the trade name Leao (Lion in Portuguese), a traditional brand (established in 1901) known principally for its tea, which Coca-Cola acquired in 2007.
Leão offers a range of over 100 types of ready for use teas.
The beans will be sourced from a network of small to medium sized coffee growers in Cerrado Minero and Espirito Santo.
