SEOUL, South Korea – The rich aroma of fresh espresso and desserts will be filling the halls of Coex this April 6th – 9th 2017 at the annual Coffee Expo Seoul. Co-organized by Coex and the Korea Coffee Association, Coffee Expo Seoul, which is held in Coex Halls A and B, will be celebrating its 6th year with expectations to set new records.
ndonesia will star as the Guest Country of choice this year, repeating the success of the last two years which saw Colombia in 2015, and Brazil in 2016.
Both countries used the marketing stage to showcase their expertise and educate visitors about their regional specialties.
Coffee Expo Seoul has established a tradition of leading coffee exhibitions with a wide variety of business programs, which the 2017 edition will continue to develop.
Indonesia will introduce a variety of coffee beans from different regions and hold “Specialty Coffee Cupping Show” at their booth (A800).
Concurrent events include the Mint Label, a new product showcase, and the “World Super Barista Championship,” a competition for outstanding professional and amateur baristas.
There are also a variety of Marketing Stage sessions, a space designed to make presentations, launch new products and hold press conferences, and both exhibitors and visitors can experience the latest coffee trends!
Coffee Expo Seoul 2017 will also connect coffee businesses and buyers with educational sessions, such as ‘Controlling flavors through roasting process’, ‘Current ‘Bean-to-Bar’ chocolate status and Korean Market Prospects’, ‘Successful operation know-how of cafe entrepreneurship’ and more.
