TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – Coffee exports from Honduras, Central America’s largest producer and exporter, surged 15.2 percent in April thanks to an increase in output, the National Coffee Institute (IHCAFE) reported on Tuesday.
Coffee sales abroad rose to 821,318 60-kg bags last month, compared to 713,122 bags in April 2016, the Institute said in its preliminary figures.
