MILAN – Coffee exports from Vietnam during the first nine months of 2017 are estimated at 1.11 million tonnes or 18.5 million bags, worth US$2.54 billion. This is 20.7% down in volume, but 1% up in value over the same period in 2016.
The average export price in the first eight months was at US$2,281.4 per tonne, up 28.5%.
Germany and the US continue to be the two largest consumer markets for Vietnamese coffee in the first eight months, with market shares at 14.7% and 13.5%, respectively.
