RIMINI, Italy – ´A journey that starts from the green and reaches the cup´, is the spirit of ´ CoffeExperts ´, the new Bazzara book edited by the brothers Andrea and Marco, presented for the first time nationally at Sigep – ´The Dolce World Expo ´by Italian Exhibition Group, at the Rimini fair.

CoffeExperts speaks of culture, progress and sustainability, but also and above all of emotions and sensations related to the coffee experience.

The Minister of Agricultural, Environmental and Forestry Policies Stefano Patuanelli was the author of the afterword,

The Bazzara family has been working for generations to support the human and productive quality of the coffee supply chain, the flagship of food and wine culture and an authentic expression of the best Made In Italy in the rest of the world.

Leafing through the pages of the volume, the path of the drink starts from its growing areas, analyzes the characteristics of the plantations, passes through the trade of global ports through the free port of Trieste and affects the lifestyle of our country ´.

This is the message that the Minister wished to deliver to Franco Bazzara, president of Bazzara Espresso for presentation to Sigep.

CoffeExperts can be purchased in the company eShop and on the Bazzara Espresso Amazon page. It will also be available at selected bookstores, trade fairs and in the best coffee academies and schools throughout the country.

Gelato, the international chains awarded at Sigep

Keeping the bar high and continuing to invest in one´s identity: this is the message that entrepreneurs in the world of ice cream have launched to the public of Italian Exhibition Group´s Sigep – The Dolce World Expo, running at the Rimini Exhibition Center until Wednesday March 16th, during the Top International Gelato Chains award ceremony in the Gelato Arena.

The recognition assigned by Sistema Gelato to the ice cream chains that stood out for their dynamism this year went to Cioccolatitaliani, Amorino and Gelatiamo.

The three brands aggregate over 300 points of sale in Italy and abroad. Vincenzo Ferrieri is co-founder of Cioccolatitaliani, a chain founded in 2010 which today has 51 stores and has gone beyond the Italian borders by expanding into the Middle East, the Balkans and other countries of Mediterranean Europe. «I believe that continuing to invest in building the brand is the fundamental point for continuing development even in difficult times like these.

By adapting the service and the layout of the points of sale, but remaining faithful to a well-defined identity ´, explained Ferrieri. He was echoed by Ana Martin Campos, general manager of Gelatiamo, 25 stores in Spain and South America, with presence in Mexico, Bolivia, Costa Rica.

´Keeping the cost of labor under control is important, but training them well and consistently is also a key factor for the solidity of our business, ´explained Campos. Gabriella Bitetto, who spoke for ICE-Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies, highlighted how the consumption of ice cream has evolved and how the sector is moving to meet the new needs of the consumer, more and more attentive to a healthy diet and interested in the great trends that affect the entire food sector, from ´free from´ to veg. Antonio Verga Falzacappa, CEO of Sistema Leader, handing over the awards to the chains, recalled that Sistema Gelato will continue to keep an eye on the performance of Italian ice cream in the world. ´A business, that of ice cream shops in the chain, which generates positive effects along the entire supply chain and strengthens Italy´s position in the sectors of machinery and ingredients for ice cream´.
