The New School is an educational model that provides quality education, coverage and relevance.  Children and youth are being educated to obtain the necessary knowledge, skills and values. In Caldas, the model has expanded to different school grades responding to the students’ stages of development, interest and motivation.

The model has articulated projects that favor relevance of education and improve the quality of life for students and their families (School & Coffee, School & Food Security, Virtual School). The competency development approach has also been strengthened, which is evidenced by the work of the students and the quality of their exam results.

The New School model has become an education policy thanks to the public-private partnership and appropriation by rural communities. Additionally, it has been a reference for Colombia and the world, supported in its education quality, coverage and relevance results.
