BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil – Brazil’s National Supply Company (Conab) released this Tuesday (24th) in Belo Horizonte its second official estimate for the 2016/17 coffee crop, that began harvesting a few weeks ago.
Production is forecast at 49.67 million 60-kg bags, or a 14.9% increase over 2015, according to the agriculture ministry’s crop-forecasting agency.
