Costa supporting Macmillan Coffee Morning

For the first time this year, Costa Coffee is proud to announce that it has become a joint headline partner of Macmillan’s Coffee Morning alongside M&S Food, helping to raise vital funds for people living with cancer. From 1 September to 5 October, customers will be able to purchase a range of sweet treats in-store, with a donation from each product going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The fundraising treats include the new Macmillan Chocolate Muffin, which is an indulgent chocolate muffin, filled with a smooth and rich chocolate filling, topped with a chocolate frosting and finished with milk and white chocolate buttons.

There’s also a new Macmillan Carrot & Walnut Cake, made with walnuts, sultanas, pineapple and spices. The moist sponge is filled and topped with a layer of sweet cream cheese frosting and finished by hand with Macmillan colour themed sugar sprinkles.

The new M&S Mini Colin the Caterpillar cake is bigger and better, made of mini chocolate sponge rolls that are caterpillar shaped and covered in smooth chocolate buttercream, a milk chocolate shell and finished with Macmillan colour themed green and white sugar sprinkles.

Naomi Matthews, Food and Beverage Commercial Director UK & Ireland at Costa Coffee said: “We’re proud of our new September food and drink menu. Whatever weather autumn might throw at us, we have created something that warms you up, fills you up and excites taste buds, with new items we have never launched before. And at the same time, selling new sweet treats which help to provide vital fundraising support for those that need Macmillan’s services while they go through one of the toughest times in their lives.”
