PHOENIX, U.S. – BioNovelus, Inc. announces the results of its biodegradable fungicide, CR-10, after six months of Coffee Rust testing in Costa Rica. CoopeAgri R.L, one of the largest cooperative in Costa Rica, has released the CR-10 performance data.

The results show that eco-friendly CR-10 has not only brought the coffee rust to a level of 0% in all the tested coffee plantations, but it has maintained this level without any new application for a period of 120 days.

Also, all coffee trees treated with CR-10 show that their foliage has doubled, proving that they regain some of their life force, which doesn’t happen when they are treated with toxic chemicals.

Mr. Jean Ekobo, President/CEO of BioNovelus, Inc., says, “This additional performance of CR-10 shows that unlike its toxic competition, CR-10 doesn’t require any additional byproduct (such as sulfur) to stick to plants. CR-10 also quickly kills coffee rust while protecting plants from being (re)infected.”

These results have open doors to a potential distribution partner in Mexico with one of the leading distributors of “green” agricultural solutions, eco-friendly fungicides and bio-pesticides.

This Mexican company, excited about the results with the “roya” fungus, has offered its research and development team to test CR-10 not just on coffee rust, but for other agricultural applications such as soy bean, banana, papaya, pineapple, tomatoes and wheat.

Positive test results will be a tremendous asset for BioNovelus in the future.
