Cuban coffee Altoserra increases its international presence worldwide

HAVANA, Cuba – The presence of Cuban coffee Altoserra grows internationally as it is exported to Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Australia and Germany thanks to its quality and varied supply, a business source said here today.

Commercial specialist Rosa Isaac Savón also informed Prensa Latina that the entity’s products are Turquino and Extra Turquino, Serrano Superior and Lavado, Caracolillo and Altoserra, in a conversation carried out at the company’s stand at the trade fair taking place as part of The Agroforestry Convention Cuba-2017.

According to Savón, Altoserra was founded on April 23, 1960 and its suppliers are located in the provinces of Guantánamo and Holguín, in the eastern part of the island, with a long tradition in the cultivation of the aromatic grain.

She also stated that the company processes coffee to export from the entire eastern region and it is now starting to make its way through the Caribbean coffee-producing countries.

The company, with a recognized experience in the process of producing coffee and the benefits of cocoa, implements the requirements of the Integrated Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality standards of 2015, with a highly qualified personnel, said the specialist.

In the convention, to be concluded this Friday, participate more than 600 scientists, products, businessmen, experts, students and all those interested in the forestry development in the world, according to the organizers.
