SEOUL – With little sign of subsiding in Korea’s coffee craze, Koreans’ palate for java is becoming more and more picky, refined and high-end. It is no secret that Korean women rather pass a full meal for a cup of joe with a government survey showing coffee beating out the country’s staple side dish kimchi and rice as the most consumed food as a Korean gulps down two cups a day, or 12.2 times a week, on average.
