HO CHI MINH CITY – The 2018 Vietnam Cafe Show is set to take place next week at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City, from May 3-5.
As many as 200 pavilions from more than 100 local and foreign coffee brands will display products such as coffee, tea, beverages, cakes, state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, desserts, interior decoration for coffee shops, franchises and startups.
The event will serve as a forum for businesses at home and abroad to share experiences and knowledge in the field of coffee.
National Barista Championship
In what promises to be a highlight of the event, the Vietnam National Barista Championship (VNBC) will be held for the first time in Vietnam in accordance with the standards of a World Coffee Event (WCE).
The competition will be an opportunity for baristas to shine and add impetus to the development of Vietnam’s coffee market.
The winners of the competition will get the chance to compete at the 2018 World Barista Championships being held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
