MILAN – In a bid to expand its market share in the world’s third largest coffee importer, ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. is opening today (August 5th) a new office in Genoa, Italy, the company’s southern Europe coffee manager to Guillaume Zbinden announced in an interview.
The Pully, Switzerland-based hired Davide Rocca from Louis Dreyfus Co. to lead the team in Italy. Ecom’s Italian operations will have two traders by the end of the year and grow to three next year, according to Zbinden.
