GELNHAUSEN, Germany – ReiCat develops, produces and installs worldwide process plants for gas treatment. Their main goal is to deliver efficient and environmental-friendly systems with minimal energy consumption.
The emission of gaseous and dust contaminations is unavoidable in almost all industrial processes.
By means of ReiCat’s specific techniques, aerosols, particles, smells and hydrocarbons can be removed out of the waste air / waste gas or exhaust airstream.
The integration of the European VOC guideline (1999/13EG) into national legislation forces all companies to stick to this standard for the limitation of emissions.
Concerning the coffee industry, ReiCat develops and produces different kinds of catalytic units based on the needs of the customers and the size of the coffee roasters. ReiCat´s Catalytic Units can be divided in two main categories: Gourmet Roaster Catalyst and Classic Catalyst.
The “Gourmet Roaster Catalyst” are applied on small batch roasters (30-50-60 kg). This Unit is a compact solution for small and medium roasters that permits the elimination of odors and fumes and reduces energy consumption by 50-60%.
The “Classic Catalyst” are applied on roaster units starting from 90-120 kg and larger (continuous and batch roasters).
It is designed for medium and large-size roasters. ReiCat provides a system that allows companies to meet environmental limits (VOC <35 mg / Nm) and to reduce the energy consumption up to 50 % compared to thermal incineration.
ReiCat can provide several Coffee Roasters (larger international companies as well as small and medium enterprises) with products that are energy-efficient and at the same time environment-friendly.

ReiCat put in the last year a lot of effort in the coffee market and they are now in a strong strategic position thanks to the participation in the two most important Coffee Associations in Europe (Gruppo Italiano Torrefattori Caffè e Deutscher Kaffeeverband). This participation helps ReiCat to have good contacts with the most known coffee roaster manufacturers and with several final clients.
