COLOGNE, Germany – The international vending and coffee world will be meeting up this week in Cologne at Eu’Vend & coffeena 2017. Of course, in addition to business and networking, the focus will also be on the developments and innovations from and for the industry from 27 to 29 April 2017.
In order to particularly emphasise this innovative power, in cooperation with the German Vending Association (BDV), the industry sponsor of Eu’Vend & coffeena, Koelnmesse awards the ‘Vending Star’ Innovation Prize during the trade fair.
The prize is being awarded for the sixth time this year.
An international expert jury examined all of the submitted applications in the four categories “Auxiliary devices used to operate vending machines’, ‘Innovative vending machine product’, ‘Concept’ and ‘Technical Appliances’ on 28 March 2017 and nominated three innovations in each category for the final selection.
The prize winners of the ‘Vending Star 2017’ will be announced at the “Eu’Vend & coffeena Night” on 28 April 2017.
Companies from the vending industry were called upon to submit their innovations and latest product developments for the ‘Vending Star’ The international expert jury had the difficult task of nominating the finalists from among all of the submitted entries.
After examining the numerous applications closely and evaluating them, the decisions have now been taken. Once again, the focus of the nominations was placed on innovative power, added value and the entries’ suitability for everyday use.

The ‘Vending Stars 2017’ of the respective category will be awarded at a festive ceremony during the ‘Eu’Vend & coffeena Night’ on 28 April 2017 at the Rheinterrassen.
All of the nominated entries will be presented to the trade visitors on the ‘Vending Star Area’ at Eu’Vend & coffeena.
Eu’Vend & coffeena is organised by Koelnmesse. The industry sponsor is the German Vending Association e.V. (BDV).
The trade fair is once again taking place in Hall 9 of the Cologne fair grounds, which has its own entrance.
