After Eurochocolate and CioccolaTo, Expo Milano 2015 will host another event entirely devoted to cocoa and chocolate: ChocoModica, from December 5 – 8 in the Sicilian city with the slogan “La Grande Dolcezza” (The Great Sweetness).

In Modica there will be a technical meeting on the Cocoa Cluster , following the Third Meeting of the Working Group for the Cocoa Cluster, held at Eurochocolate in October, the cultural event dedicated to chocolate that takes place every October in Perugia, whose organization will have an important role in coordinating the schedule of events of the Cluster.

On that occasion, the Participating Countries met to talk about the work of the Cluster, events and content development.

The meeting was an opportunity to present the state of the construction work of the Pavilions, the exhibition theme hosted in the common space and start of a dialogue on the development of the contents of the common space through the events that will be made by the countries: a time to work together and plot the direction to be taken to introduce themselves to the public and to the other countries on the occasion of Expo Milano 2015.

The contents of the exhibition in common: a sweet story

Presented during the meeting was the final draft and final concept of the common area of the Cluster, developed by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano and areas were identified which will focus on the content of exhibitions and events: the story of Cocoa and Chocolate, biodiversity and the cultivation of cocoa, the process and the technology for the production of chocolate from cocoa, the importance of Cocoa products for the health and the and the economies of producing countries.

The photo exhibition of Martin Parr: an unusual point of view

Each Cluster will host a photo exhibition: that of Cluster Cocoa will be organized in collaboration with the agency Magnum / Contrasto and will have as its subject an unpublished work of British photographer Martin Parr, a “reporter of our time ” who through his images offers the opportunity to see the world from his unique point of view with unique reasons, bright colors and unusual perspectives. Within the common area of the Cluster 30 of his photographs on 15 stands will be displayed.
