MILAN, Italy – Faema, a long-standing brand with a lengthy record as a pioneering designer, manufacturer and distributor of espresso machines, will be the official sponsor of the 2019 Korea National Barista Championship, that this year has incredible industry prizes awarded to the finalists and winner.
The competition focuses on promoting excellence in coffee, advancing the barista profession, and engaging a worldwide audience with an annual championship event that serves as the culmination of local and regional events around the globe.
From 10th – 13th January at the Salon du Chocolat 2019, baristas from all the South Korea will compete for industry acclaim, awards, and the chance to represent the South Korea at the World Barista Championship, taking place in Boston.
Faema will be the sponsor of the championship with the new Faema E71, the best interpreter of Master Coffee Artists.
Faema E71 allows the barista to set a different temperature for every grouphead. Moreover, the new Faema hydraulic circuit with its GTi infusion control system guarantees thermal stability at all times.
The new Faema GTi thermal system guarantees both high-precision infusion and perfect coffee brew-time regulation. Its independent coffee boilers allow baristas to set the machine up for a wide range of different blends and specialty beverages, which translates into a more extensive coffee menu.
With the E71, the entire coffee brewing process is placed squarely in the capable hands of the barista.
For the first time ever the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place competitors will be awarded with a full week of brewing and sensory training at MUMAC Academy in Milan, Italy, with return flights and accommodation provided by Faema.
